Our morning started off with the cards stacked against us...it was chilly, muddy, and the constant drizzle was quite annoying. But once the clouds gave us a break, this little man was ready for action!
And more....
But I think the best part of this session was sitting around talking shop with mama (also a photographer!) and dad. I love how a friendship can evolve just from experiencing a session together. Amazing!

I met up with my friend-tog Margaret a few weeks ago to get some family pictures done for her. Just as things were going so well (her son is THE most cooperative child I've ever met), our session was cut ridiculously short because it was freeeeeeeeezing!!! This Austin weather has got us all confused. Glad we were able to get some pics from the morning anyway.
Hey...thanks to all of you who've opened your hearts and shared stories and offered your support here. You never cease to amaze me with your strength and kindness and acceptance of me, even when I'm not super mom (which is like, ALWAYS). You all are incredible.
And, still ONE opening left for our Xpressions next Sunday. I've got a GREAT little spot picked out and my husband is assigned to dragging out the clawfoot tub for us.
[Don't forget about the scavenger
hunt contest. Cool prize. Ends March 22nd.]
I can't believe I haven't had a chance to blog the session of our Helping Hearts for Haiti winners! Lyndsay posted her images the other day...don't you just love the connections she got between those two? It was truly a blast, prancing around downtown Austin, finding light in the most unusual places. I was only supposed to edit 15-20 images for this session. I happily failed. Here...check them all out:
