As if the beautiful girl and her deer weren't enough, then they brought out the giant pinwheels, and the old tractor equipment, *and* horses, too????!!! The whole time I seriously thought I had died and gone to Pinkle Toes heaven. This session was just pure magic and I'm so thankful to have met this family! (Congrats to them on Pic of the Month, too!)
So far, she's been the only senior who chose to get up before sunrise to take her senior pictures. And let me tell you, I think we're both glad she did. Can you even believe this beautiful light and check out her wardrobe choices?! Well done!
She was the sweetest person in the world to work with and I had so much fun. Her beau even showed up to help out. Little did he know he'd be dragged into the photo session, too ;-) Here he his helping me take a test shot for my OCF:
In fact, those two were so darned cute together, I ended up practically doing a whole other mini session just for them. Those pics to come in part 2!Totally worth it. These are GORGEOUS! I especially love the look in the "test" shot!

This is what she said about her vision for her senior pictures:
"I don't know what regular senior portraits look like, but I want mine to be full of laughter and look like I'm having fun. Not sitting by a tree with my letter jacket on, like everyone else :P"
Now that made my day and I couldn't wait for her session. She did not disappoint. Love her hair (I so wish I could pull that off) and loved the sparkle of her eyes. Indeed, I think she looks like she's having fun. I know I was.
I love every single one of these! she's adorable and could totally go in to modeling. I too wish I could wear my hair like that, but I"m not brave enough to try. Awesome shots!!!!!

I was so honored to be asked to capture this family before they moved away from Austin this summer. We explored the city and tried to bottle up everything that makes Austin so special. We celebrated the fact that this was their daughter's birth place. It was just another one of those perfect Austin evenings, but with a touch of melancholy. I'm sad to see them go...I truly enjoyed the times I've spent with them and who knows? Perhaps we'll get to hang together again someday.
And isn't baby girl one of the most photogenic kids ever??? Those eyes! Those soulful eyes!
With every shoot you do, I am so inspired. You continue to amaze me!
