Today I learned that Pinkle Toes Photography was nominated as one of Austin's Best Birth and Best Infant Photographers! This family has got some good genes, don't they??? We had so much fun working together and he had the perfect chubby cheeks. I can't wait to see if he's going to have his big sister's amazing hair!
during this newborn session that I will never forget. It had been cold for quite sometime and on this day, it was nice and warm. Mom and dad were playing with the baby on the bed and we unwrapped him from his blanket. It was as if they were unwrapping a gift. It was incredible to be there to watch them as they got to explore their son's newborn-ness for the first time. They were lost in their own world...peeking at tiny toes, noticing those little lashes, the way his belly moved when he breathed. It was magical.

....what a room full of women and an adorable baby sounds like? Actually, a lot like a baby shower. If I had a dollar for every "oooooohh" and "awwwwww" this little man solicited from his watchful crowd, well, let's just say I'd be sitting pretty.
Thankful to have been introduced to yet another amazing group of photographer ladies today at our workshop and I'm very much looking forward to spending tomorrow shooting for and with them!
