He gave me a run for my money today, that's for sure. But he's still so cute and snuggly. Here's hoping we all settle in for a nice, looooooong nap this afternoon.

Mom and dad asked for a very classic newborn session for their little girl. I don't often do this kind of work (bendy baby and black backdrops), but it worked beautifully for her. She was in such a good mood the WHOLE session...it was such a treat!

It's no secret that a sleepy newborn is a photographer's dream. And, I'm not going to lie...I really enjoyed this little dude's session because he was so squishy and teeny and mold-able. But, we did want at least one picture of his beautiful, soulful eyes and my goodness, he made us work for it. Mom, dad, grandma, and I tried *everything* to get him stay awake, but he would just yawn at us and go back to sleep. Finally...finally, we got one:

I need to be stopped. I've officially gone crazy over these amazing iPhone cases from Get Uncommon (thanks a lot, Lyndsay ;-). I wasn't really sure about the quality until I saw it in person and wow! It's amazing! I may end up with a whole collection of these puppies.
