Today I learned that Pinkle Toes Photography was nominated as one of Austin's Best Birth and Best Infant Photographers! First-round voting continues through the end of July (just click the badge--lots of other Austin birth professionals who deserve some recognition, too!). Thanks so much to whoever nominated me. So, we returned from our little weekend getaway to Great Wolf Lodge only to come home to 2-3 inches of standing water in the studio and my husband's office (a pipe burst). Fortunately, most everything is okay--even my camera bag that was sitting IN WATER...somehow, my camera and lenses made it out alive. However, the floor is going to have to be replaced and that means we're relegated to a small corner of the studio for now. Please try to be patient with us as we work to get everything back to normal (ha) around here.
On a stay-cation with the family. Will return e-mails, etc. when we've had enough of each other ;-).

We've opened up FOUR more workshops for members of Pinkle Toes 4 Photographers this summer! (See that link for more info.) And now, speaking of workshops, gotta run to get the house ready for our next group to arrive tomorrow! It has been a blast meeting photographers from all over the world!
