1) This was the first time that I actually arrived at the hospital *before* the expecting parents. I was so afraid I had gone to the wrong hospital or something. It was really neat to get to capture literally *everything* from beginning to end.
2) She was brave. Very, very brave.
3) I love how baby girl's brother and sisters were all so excited to see her. It's easy to tell she was loved even before she officially arrived.

We've opened up FOUR more workshops for members of Pinkle Toes 4 Photographers this summer! (See that link for more info.) And now, speaking of workshops, gotta run to get the house ready for our next group to arrive tomorrow! It has been a blast meeting photographers from all over the world!

I'm a sucker for Valentine's Day. I know it's all so commercial, but I can't help it. I love the colors, I love the sentiment, I loved making valentines and valentine mailboxes, I loved the excitement of wondering if I had any secret admirers growing up (turns out I didn't, but still... ;-), I love that my mom always had a special little treat waiting for us downstairs when we woke in the morning, and I love that I get to carry on that tradition with my kiddos.
I also love hearts. Especially bokeh hearts. And I love getting to work with two people who are very much IN love. And I love the anticipation of wondering who that new little person will be...
