You could smell that mimosa tree from a mile away. The light was absolutely gorgeous. And kids can fly.
I quite enjoy the opportunity to photograph a maternity session where the focus is on the family. Here they are...at this time...together...getting ready to bring a new life into their family. In spite of having a toddler, it's peaceful compared to what changes are about to take place.

Big sis "to be" got a little sleepy during our session and so she spent a little quiet time with her parents. These were my favorite moments.

I've had the privilege of working with so many amazing mothers this year. Some of you became mothers for the first time. Some of you are seasoned pros. All of you have inspired me in countless ways. I hope you had a wonderful and very special Mother's Day today!
