feelinblue.jpgFinally. My turn to take my kiddos in the bluebonnets. I’m so blessed. If only I had a fireplace to hang this over… (or toss it into)…

  • LOL! Looks perfect! Real life right?

  • If I had three, this is probably exactly what my photo would look like as well!! BUT, I do have the younger two, and this is pretty much mirror of what I get whenever I try to photograph them.

  • t-hee now that is classic! I hope you got one good one!

  • I saw the tiny thumbnail on FB and was like, “OH, how did she get all her kids to sit still and smile, especially with a little little one?!?” But then I clicked and saw the big photo. LOL. One happy, one sad, and one just completely whelmed. Fantastic!

  • Michele…Oh my gosh…I love it!!!!

  • LOL, I love it, totally going over the fireplace if you had one! Is little miss still clingy???

  • First of all: How do I get me some Bluebonnets? Those are GORGEOUS! I wish we had that here in the desert. Secondly: This is how 99.9% of pics of my kiddos turn out. You are not alone :).

  • Haha!!!! Looks like we share the same world. heehee…

  • There are some photographers that refuse to shoot more than one kid at a time… maybe they have a point. 😉

  • Ha! Love it! It’s so hard being the mom AND the photographer! I’m SO there!

  • I love it!!! It’s just perfect. I mean….it’s REAL. It captured your kids and the moment! 😀

  • Ha! That’s a kick…I’m still cracking up!

  • Wow, this photo I’m sure captured their personalities in a big way! Great shot!

  • Haha! I love it! Gotta loooove those real life moments!

  • I can only laugh with you, because every attempt I make to photograph my own kids ends up like this. I generally have to clone each of their faces on from 3 other photos in order to come up with something presentable!

  • It’s always, always harder to get portraits of your own children. I remember those days. My guys are now 13 and 14 and guitar and soccer shots are their favorites. They even ask me to photograph them sometimes. Go figure.

  • LOL!!! Best photo ever!!

  • Don’t toss it. I think it’s perfectly real. LOVE it. You’ll dig that up one day and it will take you right back to that moment (minus the frustration factor;-)

  • Gosh, I’ve been there myself too many times to count. Well, with the goofy kids, not the bluebonnets. Which are beautiful!

  • Mine were like that last year… This year they were slightly better. I have become great at making triptychs of the kids or collages. I feel for you : ( But they are still adorable.

  • I think this definitely needs to be on display 🙂 And in the slide show at the younger two’s weddings … poor big brother though, he’s got his hands full too!

  • This made my morning. This is what my kids would have looked like if we had an arm or minute free to actually take a pic on our 1st roadtrip beach vacation this weekend. I think you should take one of you and hubbie in the bluebonnets with these same faces to go with. I guess that’s sometimes how we feel on the inside – kids are just better at putting it all out there!

  • hope your oldest got a prize!! and her hair looks soooooo pretty =)

  • Hilarious! This is what most of the sessions I have with my kiddos look like too! But I actually love the real moments. This is precious.

  • Yep – Them thar are my grandkiddos! PRECIOUS and REAL LIFE, True that!! Love em!

  • ROFLMAO! I’d so print this on notecards and send ’em whenever I knew someone needed some cheering up. Heading out to the ball field Saturday…can’t wait to see y’all!

  • oh, how I do love this…and the boy’s wedding shirts? too, too cute!

  • Beautiful! Well, someday you will look back on that and just grin. Because they will be all grown and have little ones of their own that are acting 10 times worse. And they will be calling you, asking you how to take photos of them. Hang in there. There is always next year.

  • LOL! This is EXACTLY what I get when I try to shoot my kids.

  • AHAAHA!! I can’t tell you how many photos like this I have of my daughter ~ and she’s just one kiddo…I can only imagine how many you have with all 3 🙂 its cute though…you’ll love it tomorrow ;).
