1) This was the first time that I actually arrived at the hospital *before* the expecting parents. I was so afraid I had gone to the wrong hospital or something. It was really neat to get to capture literally *everything* from beginning to end.
2) She was brave. Very, very brave.
3) I love how baby girl’s brother and sisters were all so excited to see her. It’s easy to tell she was loved even before she officially arrived.
[I have only two openings left for birth photography in Austin for 2011. Check out the session openings page for dates.
2) The bowl he’s in? I believe that is a bread bowl that belonged to her (great?) grandfather. This is why I love doing newborn sessions in my clients’ homes and why I don’t like to bring my own props…isn’t it so much more meaningful when your images have YOUR stuff in them?
3) Looking forward to hanging with him again in just a few months. Anxious to see how he’s grown!
1) I just about passed out when I pulled up to see that beautiful pond in the front yard.
2) The yawning pic was before our session really began…so glad I was fast enough to catch that moment.
3) Before having my own children and before this business, I used to think all babies looked alike. In this case, you could show me a picture of his daddy and I could still tell you who belonged to him. I could not get over their resemblance!
2. The guitar playing made my heart melt.
3. The way big sister actually paid attention to her baby sister was quite impressive.
