I said to her, “What do you think about doing your entire session in a parking garage?” She said, “Awesome!” And the rest was Pinkle Toes history…
P.S. Last time, that little guy was elsewhere ;-).
P.P.S. LOVE her sense of style and that awesome hair color! Meg…you pulled everything together beautifully!

I was feeling somewhat caught up and ahead of the game tonight. Then I made the mistake of looking through the archives and realized there were about 30+ sessions from last year that I had yet to blog. To which I replied, “Well, hmph.”
At least now we’re at 29+.

When I sat down to think about it, I’ve known this lovely lady for nearly a decade. In fact, she and I were pregnant with our first sons at the same time. We both had our 2nd sons at about the same time. We both had little girls at about the same time. She is a true lady in every sense of the word and she mothers her children with a grace that I could never emulate but absolutely admire. I’m so glad I finally got the chance to work with her like this and to capture the wonderful connections in her family! (Check out my personal fav from this session!)

These guys are no strangers to the Pinkle Toes blog and I can’t even begin to tell you how it makes me feel to think that most of my blog posts are of repeat clients. It is truly a privilege to get to watch these kiddos grow up. Love this tradition of having everyone there for his birthday (just like his big sis) and I LOVE that we sat him on the table with his cake (just like his sis). It was a very happy day! (Click to see my two personal favs from this session bigger HERE and HERE;-).

In true Austin fashion, there was some event going on at the park when we met for our photo session that day. Parking…oh lovely parking. Well, let’s just say it wasn’t easy to snag a spot. But we pushed forward–all the way forward to the really, REALLY LOUD live music that happened to be there. We were shouting at each other to try and communicate. It was rather comical. But again, they pushed on through and managed to keep a great sense of humor. The pics of mom and her cubs…oh my…

This is a good looking family, no doubt about it. These boys just take my breath away. Even from the first time I met them [funny…I just noticed the titles of the last post and this one are pretty much the same ;)], I was completely bowled over by their energy, exuberance, and dashing good looks. Despite a tragic balloon incident, we managed to have a wonderful time at the city park, enjoying the perfect weather and all the fun sites to see (like counting turtles and climbing giant hills)!

Three years ago I was charmed by big sister. At the time, she was one of the most well-spoken, pleasant, intelligent 1-year-olds I had *ever* met. She is still one of the most well-spoken, pleasant, intelligent children I’ve ever worked with. She has a GREAT imagination and loves to entertain. I’m glad I get to say, “I knew her when…”
Enter little sister. Just as joyful, a little timid at first, but you can see it didn’t take her long to warm up to the idea of exploring this amazing Austin park at sunrise. The fog that day was mystical and although we battled slight drizzle, no one seemed to mind. We were just there to play and celebrate what it’s like to be a happy family of four.
