And now finally, after years of failed plans and rejections and starting overs, that dream is *this* close to becoming real. I’ve been so hesitant to discuss it on here because it’s been shut down so many times, but now I’m ready to say it: Pinkle Toes Photography is about to have a studio space! A place to relax, a place to create, a place where we can come up with images you might never have imagined otherwise (both indoors and outdoors), and dare I even say, a place for photography workshops.
Bless my husband, he’s been working non-stop to get this monster completed and I’m so proud of his work. I can’t wait to show you the finished product…there are so many possibilities here!
If you are expecting and have already booked a session with me, you can “register” for your maternity portraits, birth photography, and/or baby’s newborn photo session. I can even send cards to include in shower invitations, etc.
Of course, you could also take this route (my all time fav!).
Oh dear, we had a time trying to get these pics. Basically, Amry doesn’t like me to be more than 1 foot away from her. So short of shooting everything with a fisheye lens, I’m forced to set her down, run, and pray I can get one or two shots before she starts crying for me. [All the folks around me just looked at me and shook their heads in pity–not sure who for? me or her?]. I thought the popcorn would do the trick, but quite literally after I took that pic, she turned the entire box upside down. I’m in major trouble in a few years, aren’t I?
Now for the news on Pinkle Toes holiday sessions. Are you ready? Here it is: there are only 4, that’s right FOUR, openings left for Premium Sessions (2 in August and 2 in Sept) for the holidays. Yeah. I couldn’t believe it myself. I double counted. It’s accurate. Now, I will be holding some Xpressions mini sessions scheduled in the fall, but keep in mind that those are only for up to 3 immediate family members.
Anyway, I just thought I’d throw that out there. I know it’s hard to think about holiday pictures when it’s 110 outside, but I don’t want you to get “left out in the cold” either (funny, huh?). So, if you want to snag one of those openings, you need to contact me ASAP. They will be filled first-come, first-serve.
We’re still having Xpressions
on July 18th and then we’ll be back in full swing in August, when [gasp!] the holiday season begins (better book now…October is FULL and September is almost there).

Call for Austin area baby models: I’m currently looking for a baby girl about 3-5 months old who is available the morning of June 20th at 6:45 a.m. to do a quick session for Baby Cakes Scottsdale. Signed model release is required. In exchange for use of the images, you will receive low res copies of the edited images, a beautiful baby blanket ($100 value) and 1/2 off the Creative Fee for a 2010 Premium Session with me! Not a bad deal, huh? Interested applicants need to complete this form and send a fairly recent picture of your baby (doesn’t need to be professional) to me. Deadline to apply is Monday, June 14th.

Pinkle Toes Photography is looking for positive, outgoing, and energetic high school juniors who will be graduating from any high school in the Austin area in 2011 (Westlake, Cedar Park, Leander, Lake Travis, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, etc). Can you believe I’ve been sitting on this way cool blog design for more than 5 months now?! I can’t. I’m so mad I haven’t put it to good use sooner because it’s going to make blogging your sessions so much faster. And let’s face it, I’ve needed to update my galleries forever now.
