I am quite possibly in denial that Senior Portrait Season is in full swing here…probably because I have a senior myself this year. But I am LOVING meeting and working with all of these amazing young people who have more confidence and talent than I ever had at their age! I still have some openings left for March or April if you’re graduating this spring (Class of 2022) from a school in Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Georgetown, Westlake, Lake Travis or anywhere in the surrounding areas. I am fully booked up for May, though, so don’t wait! Or, if you are in the Class of 2023, reach out and we can talk about having your senior photo session during some down time this summer. My contact form isn’t working right now, so just send an email to info@pinkletoes.com.
He has accomplished a LOT in all of his “21 years” on Earth and it was worth celebrating in a BIG way with this beautifully imagined photo session gifted from his “main squeeze.” I always know I’m going to be treated to something inspiring and creative each time I work with this family, but the true wildcard (in a good way) is their daughter. She has a light inside that simply shines through. She constantly has us laughing at the clever things she says and somehow, she finds a way to make each and every “pose” we try dynamic and uniquely her own. austin family lifestyle photographer
These dresses made my heart skip a beat!
This is exactly what I mean about her creativity! I asked her to dance around and twirl in her dress and she did, but then all of a sudden, she pulls out the PERFECT imitation of the “lady in the red dress dancing” emoji and we all just fell out laughing!
Based on years and years of experience, I know how challenging it can be to put together one set of outfits for a family photo session, but somehow, this mama manages to expertly create two distinct visions:
And finally, when we were inside the school bus at Sekrit Theater, I told them this looked like it could be their family album cover…from the 70’s. Loving the retro feel here!

Stepping into this hidden gem really is like stepping in to Wonderland. You never know what you’re going to find around each corner and everything seems disjointed and incongruous, but that’s the beauty of the place. The girls kept going from one little nook to the next, excitedly telling us about what they had discovered. It was *just* enough to distract us from the humidity that day ;-), though you can still literally see the haze in the images…that’s how humid it was!!! I absolutely loved that rainbow dress, too! It stood out so beautifully to punctuate the images in this misty, mystical little Wonderland. Fav mom + daughter pic HERE.
