The Pinkle Toes elves are back at it again, busy creating a warm, cozy, inviting set for our “Holiday Chalet.” The 13th Annual Kids-only Holiday Minis and Toy Drive will be held at a gorgeous, cabin-like retreat in Central Austin (make note of the earlier dates this year). As always, the only way to snag this FREE mini session for your child(ren) is by booking a session for 2025. If you’ve never experienced a Pinkle Toes session, this is a perfect way for us to get to know each other while also creating adorable holiday photos of your kid(s). Or, if you haven’t had a Pinkle Toes session in a while, this is a great opportunity to come back and see what’s changed. Everyone who brings an unwrapped toy to their mini for our annual toy drive will receive an additional free file! I say it every year, but these holiday minis are always a hit and a sure way to help everyone get into the holiday spirit! The Pinkle Toes (kids-only) Fa La La Holiday Minis

• This 10 minute kids-only* mini session is FREE to all clients who book a session for 2022 and includes (at least) ONE FREE digital file of your choice.
• You have options to earn more free files, too!

• As in the past, the only way to snag a spot for your child(ren) is by booking a full session for 2022.
• Sorry, but you cannot move a previously scheduled session in order to do so

It hurts a little to go back and look at the sessions held before March of 2020. At the same time, it’s a great reminder that what was important “back then” is just as important, if not more important, now. If I have learned anything this year, it’s that nothing, and I mean nothing, is more valuable than family. And, like basically all of my clients, I love this family as if they were my own family. When I see their kiddos, I think of one of my fav shots taken from above (the wagon). I think of what The Broken Spoke used to look like (I *still* have that garland I use from time to time). I think of them singing this song during this maternity session (and honestly, I *always* think of them whenever I hear it to this day). And then, of course there’s this one’s Birth Day (scroll down). And now I’m realizing I never blogged their family session from 2017!!! I think I’m going to have to do a follow up for that one :-).

The point of this is that I hope you all realize that your family feels like *my* family. I am so grateful to get to experience the wonderful and momentous and even the simplest moments in life with you. I also feel your pain and your lows. I see your children growing up at warp speed and it is a feeling of pride and nostalgic ache that I wasn’t quite prepared for emotionally.

Sorry, I can’t help it! Especially when I had the chance to experience this family’s breathtaking holiday decorations last year! They are just too magnificent not to share. More HERE.

For one reason or another, we kept having to push back this family photo session date until we were right on the edge of the holidays. But, it didn’t matter because it turned out that the day we were finally able to shoot was completely perfect. The boys were in great moods and SO hammy for the camera (didn’t they pull off their dapper purple velvet suit coats so wonderfully?) and the entire family looked oh-so posh and ready for a night on the town. People kept looking at us while we were shooting…trying to figure out if this family was famous (of course they are!) or if perhaps we were shooting an ad ;-). I’ve done so many sessions with this crew over the years and this one will definitely stand out to me. I know the years are numbered where mom is going to be allowed to dress up her guys and I’m glad we were able to do this at least once more. THIS image makes me laugh every time I think about it.

I can’t believe I’ve known these cuties since they were in their mommy’s perfect little tummy and their newborn session seems like forever ago. But, watching these girls grow up through the years has brought me so much joy and laughter. Every photo session with these twins has been fun and memorable and unique, and getting to share in a bit of that magical glow just before Christmas definitely fell in line with the wonderful memories of past photo shoots. They are beautiful little people and they crack me up with their energy. But they also melt my heart with their love…for life, for their mama, and for one another. I’m so lucky to know them!!! Loved this sweet little kiss HERE.

I was blown away by the gorgeous outfits she put together for her family and this incredible location we visited. It was made even better by the fact that this spot is *very* special to their family and it was an honor to get to photograph them there. Her children did AMAZING for their photo shoot and I was so excited that she even thought to bring some fall leaves for everyone to play in at the end of the session. We even managed to find a bit of fall color when we were exploring that afternoon ;-).
