It has been more than a YEAR in the making, but it’s finally happening! I am beyond thrilled to team up with two other INCREDIBLE photographers–Leah Cook Photography of Dallas and Minnette D Photography of Houston–along with hair and makeup artist Katie Astoria of Modern Muse Beauty in Austin, to bring you Snow Angels: A Winter Enchantment by .emme. boudoir. We can help make all of your frozen fantasies come true as our magical stylist and team of experienced photographers help capture your inner Snow Angel. From start to finish you’ll be pampered with gorgeous hair, makeup and images that will warm up even the coldest winter nights. Even better, you will have your images in time for Valentine’s Day!
Contact us ASAP for full session details – there are special discounts and booking incentives for reserving your session early. Sessions will be held at my studio/property outside of Austin, so if you live in Dallas, Houston, or surrounding area, why not make it a girls’ weekend? A good friend of mine shared THIS video with me and it absolutely inspired me because let’s face it, after our family’s fair share of hurt this year, I definitely have a desire to be happier. So, I decided to throw a party to thank some very special clients…people who have been with me since the very beginning, people I see year after year, people with whom I’ve shared laughter, tears, elation, and heartache. What better way to thank them than to give them a little shopping spree at one of my favorite stores, Kendra Scott Jewelry in good ol’ Austin, TX? And, even better, in the process, we were able to raise more than $1,100 to go toward the Melanoma Research Foundation. (Why?).
It could not have been a more perfect evening. I had SO much fun getting to visit with my clients dear friends while doing some girlie girl shopping with them. I got to hug each and every one of them and say, “Thank you,” in person. I even had a visit from my sissy and my hubby brought the kiddos by for a cupcake or two (PURE yumminess from Nothing Bundt Cakes in Westlake). I was walking on air that night. So much so, it is pretty much a given that we must repeat this next year. Right, ladies? Those who were not able to make it…here is your hug, too ;-). Sorry we missed you and hopefully, we’ll catch you next time around 😉
I still pinch myself sometimes. I can’t believe how many families I’ve been able to watch grow and change over these last seven years. I was telling a client the other day it’s funny because this is the longest I’ve stayed in one job…by far. My second longest was 2 years ;-). I am very thankful to have found a career that doesn’t really feel like “work.” It fulfills me and keeps me going. I get hang out with the most interesting, humorous, brilliant, beautiful people from all over the world…from all walks of life. I am very thankful for all of the clients I’ve met and the miracles I’ve witnessed and celebrated. Very thankful.

Maybe somehow you missed the announcement, but my little side project .emme. boudoir is bringing back the mini session marathon in early September and this time, the theme is “Secret Garden.” We’ve gotten the greenhouse all set up and ready to go and I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Katie of Modern Muse Beauty once again to create these fantastical, romantic, etherial portraits to highlight your natural beauty. We are so excited about all of the possibilities this set lends us and I cannot wait to see how creative and artistic we can get as we paint with light and nature and fantasy. We have some magical, MAGICAL things in the works for unique and romantic boudoir sessions (portfolio) and if you’ve ever thought about doing something like this, it would be a perfect opportunity. If you are expecting and have already booked a session with me, you can “register” for your maternity portraits, birth photography, and/or baby’s newborn photo session. I can even send cards to include in shower invitations, etc.
Of course, you could also take this route (my all time fav!).

In fact, if you want to use one of the images from any session with me, let me know and I would be happy to format it for you (the wrap can actually be a little tricky as I’ve learned and sometimes you need a little extra special photoshop work ;-). Contact me by the end of this month (even if you haven’t actually had your session yet) and I’ll help you out.
