A look back before she was even born and then as a brand new baby. No matter how many first year sessions I do, I’m ALWAYS blown away by how quickly time passes and how much these babies change.
Great session with you guys today and I promise, we got plenty of beautiful images with the kiddos standing still!
…and ready to go! Sending out this beautiful little stack of .emme. boudoir invitations tomorrow. I couldn’t be more thrilled to begin this new venture with my good friend-tog, Michelle, and talented make up artist, Katie from Modern Muse.
I’m most excited, however, about the opportunity for our clients to see themselves in a new light. Women of all shapes and sizes, wives, mommies, and even mommies-to-be can ALL be sexy and beautiful and mysterious. Mother’s Day is right around the corner and oh, la, la..what an amazing surprise gift this would make for Father’s Day!
I invite you to view the .emme. portfolio here (just make sure you’re in a safe place before opening, *wink*) and, you can sign up here to receive your own invitation for our first boudoir photographic event in Austin at the end of May. And, of course, don’t forget to become a fan of .emme. boudoir on Facebook.

But when we got together that day, the nerves melted away because here’s the thing…this is how they are. There’s no “posing,” there’s no “contriving,” all I had to do was capture this incredibly dynamic family just doing their thing. That, I can do. And those boys? Oh, those boys of hers! Aren’t they just stunningly handsome?? Oh, if only I could grow my boys’ hair out like that!
Marina…thank you so much for trusting me to capture your family on camera. I hope we did you justice. It was an honor.
P.S. Only two more openings left for the next Xpressions sessions in a few weeks!
We’ve been planning to take the kids out to Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls for some time now and I’m so thankful to my friend, Karyn, for pulling this trip all together for us. It was drizzling most of the day, but no one seemed to mind. The lush berry fields were so beautiful and oh, how lovely it was to watch my kiddos pick berries, pet the baby goats and donkeys, run around and play tag, and just enjoy a break from the chaos at our house right now (more on that later).
Some snaps from today:

But I really enjoyed watching my baby girl explore. She hasn’t really had a chance to venture outside like this since she started walking (our land is pretty wild) and I’m going to share a little secret here: the child does not eat fruits or vegetables. My boys were usually pretty good about this, but she just won’t touch anything green or good for you. She has refused to eat every strawberry ever offered to her, but she went WILD over these! The very first one she plucked off the bush and plopped the whole thing into her mouth, juice dribbling down her chin. She was unstoppable! She was crazed! After about 4 or 5 of ’em, honestly, she looked like she had killed a pig. She was the funniest thing ever stealing strawberries out of everyone’s baskets and giggling her new word for berry, “Ber! Ber! Ber!” over and over again.
I love this girl. My little strawberry shortcake.
caught my eye, but probably because I’m a sucker for cool flare. M, thank you sooooooooooo much for hanging in there tonight. I know it was challenging for everyone, but we stuck it out and I’m so very glad we did.
