He made his momma and daddy wait for a bit, but when he was ready to come, he came into this world fast! Could not have been a more beautiful evening, M. Congrats to you on becoming a family of 5! Love, M2

After the past few very rough days, it was lovely to see her finally sleeping so peacefully. Like a little angel.

More on that beautiful shirt later, by the way.

Also, if you haven’t been to the homeschool blog in a while…

First of all, I want to know how one family could get ALL of the “gorgeousness genes” in the gene pool? Secondly, I’m wondering if that beautiful baby boy ever cries because he sure didn’t the entire time I was there. Finally, how in the world does a mom of a pre-schooler AND a newborn get away with looking *this* amazing??? Not fair, I tell ya. Not fair!

This kid was born to super cool, ultra-hip parents. He is *going* to have style. Not to mention, hands-down, the COOLEST nursery I’ve ever seen.

fs_austin_family_photographer.jpgAnd he’s cute as heck, too. Even when he’s mad at me 😉

[Personal note to Cheyenne…you know exactly what I was trying to do with the diaper shots, don’t you? We’re not there yet, but someday, I vow to get something to rival THE pic in your office, LOL.]

This was the stunning and perfectly peaceful scene when I walked in to photograph this homebirth. Seriously? So beautiful.

austin_home_birth_photography.jpgAnd the end result? Just as beautiful. Just as peaceful. All is right with the world. Congratulations again on your new arrival!

As I continue my proofing, I have to sit here in anxious anticipation, phone by my side, camera at the ready for the next baby to hatch. Who’s going to be first? All bets are off when it comes to predicting labors and the suspense is killing me. Here’s to many safe, quick, and [relatively] painless deliveries any day now!
